The short version: this site sets no advertising cookies, and no tracking cookies of any kind.

What this site stores on your device
Two small values, both kept in your browser and neither sent to our server:
- Your theme choice, if you have used the light/dark switch.
- Your answer to the analytics question, so you are not asked again on every page.
Analytics without cookies
Our analytics set no cookie at all. Visitors are counted using a value derived on the server that is rebuilt daily and cannot be used to recognise anyone across days. See the privacy policy for the detail.
Cookies that do exist
- A session cookie on the private dashboard at /admin, set only after a member of staff signs in. Visitors never receive it.
- Cloudflare Turnstile may set a cookie when you submit a form, in order to tell people from bots.
Clearing them
Clearing site data in your browser removes all of the above. Your analytics answer is cleared with it, so the notice will appear again on your next visit.
